Cheyenne originally received her license in 1993 after receiving her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine at Bastyr college and doing an internship at Longhua Hospital and a post graduate internship at a methadone clinic in Seattle Washington. The stint at the methadone clinic was a training for her a rare acupuncture job at Pine Lodge Pre-Release Prison helping people get off drugs using acupuncture and other education. She worked there almost five years, while simultaneously starting two other "acupuncture detox" programs. One at an inpatient residential detox facility and another for the Spokane County Drug Court.

Cheyenne has an eclectic style that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM,. Five Element, Japanese, Tibetan with Contact Reflex Analysis and dowsing. She offers a drop in acupuncture clinic for the community on Thursdays from 2pm-6pm and Saturdays for 7am-12noon. Price is only $25. Private Sessions are $80. Many guests find her acupuncture to be an invaluable assist to their stay.
